Báquico is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT idea that intends to unburden international creators of music, art, video, film and photography from the weight of rapacious brokers masquerading as art enthusiasts by providing a globally popular online platform for selling and marketing works of art as well as the artist themselves.

It is the mission of Báquico, using expertise in online marketing and public relations, to create a website that is modern, attractive and fully optimised for search engines and social networking sites, in order to enable gifted, yet unknown, artists to connect directly with potential customers (individuals and companies)

We intend to also provide free international legal advice and assistance on relevant topics like Digital Rights Management (DRM), Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), copyrighting and to offer free business assistance, whenever needed, with the negotiation and approval of sales agreements on behalf of the artists.

By doing this we hope to accomplish two things. We hope to make great works of art affordable to everyone by removing outrageous middlemen costs and help gifted individuals sell their works of art providing them with the funding and possibility to be even more creative.

Báquico intends to do all of this without taking or asking for any money from any artist. The creation and operation of Báquico will be financed in the short term by grants and donations of capital and services and in the long term by money raised from periodic events, sales of online advertisement and merchandising, among other avenues of revenue that will be added.
